Tahquitz High School's CTE Digital Photography classes will once again be hosting the Student Photography Show on Friday, March 3. 2017 at the Diamond Valley Art Center from 6 - 8 PM. All Hemet USD Administrators, Faculty, Students, and Parents are invited, as well city council and chamber members. The event will be catered. Music will be provided by the Tahquitz Jazz Band. Among invited guest speakers (not yet confirmed): Mayor Linda Krupa, Bonnie Wright, Alex Ballard, Ron Vito, Claire Spence, Eric Dahlstrom, and Richard Leitz.I am looking forward to the Press Enterprise covering the event once again.

At Art a la carte, our own Board Member artists Lois Stipp of the Beaver Island Studio and Galleries and Elena Kern of Elena@The DVAC Gallery, will give step-by-step instructions on how to create a work of art – while we socialize and enjoy music a nice glass of wine! Everyone goes home with their masterpiece. No art experience needed! Come and enjoy this unique experience as you learn how to create your work of art, All for only $35.00. Chamber YouthCropedHemet/San Jacinto Valley Chamber Art Competition Guidelines

The objective of the Hemet/San Jacinto Valley Chamber of Commerce (HSJVCC) Student Art Competition is to bring together the communities of Hemet and San Jacinto through a collective and structured event that showcases the artwork and talents of the young people throughout our valley through public display at local businesses.

All high school students in the San Jacinto and Hemet Unified School Districts, including those home schooled or in private or charter schools throughout the San Jacinto and Hemet Unified School Districts. All Mt. San Jacinto College (MSJC) students to age 23 years. Up to three (3) entries total per student, but may be a mix of 2D and 3D work.
